The Bicol-based international education agency received top recognition from Southern Cross University, a world-ranking university in Australia for sending the most number of students from the Philippines.

TAGUIG CITY, Philippines – In a ceremony held this July 2, Australia-based international university, Southern Cross University, recognized its top performing education agents in the Philippines.

WORLDCONNECT, the biggest visa consultancy in the Philippines, received the top award – the ‘Platinum Achievement Award’ for “outstanding student conversions in Post Graduate Program Commencements.”


The company’s President and CEO, Catherine Altarejos, accepted the award Monday evening at Shangri-La Fort, Taguig City.

The agency was credited for sending the most number of Filipino international students enrolled in post-graduate programs to SCU, particularly their flagship international program, Graduate Certificate in Australian Nursing (EPIQ – Education Program for Internationally Qualified Nurses).
