The WORLDCONNECT team gathered in this year’s annual year-end conference in Masbate as they close the company’s biggest year yet.
MASBATE, Philippines – The company gathers the team from across the country for its year-end conference and a well-deserved vacation and Christmas party, island getaway-style.
The team from Legazpi, Naga, Bacolod, Baguio, Bohol, Cagayan de Oro, Cabanatuan, Cebu, Davao, and Iloilo were all present in the annual gathering on Dec. 14-16, 2018 at Ticao Altamar Beach Resort, Ticao Island, Masbate, Philippines.
This year’s conference was dubbed, “Keeping the Momentum in 2019”
The company’s vice-president, Alfredo Ubaña, opened the event inviting the team to relish in the year’s accomplishments.
“We sure started a great momentum in 2018. If I could sum up 2018 in just two words, I’d sum it up this way: We delivered. We beat the odds and we delivered great.”
He then cited the force behind that success. “It was our unity that propelled us not only to hit our targets but even to surpass them. It was by working together tirelessly and putting our shoulder to the wheel that this year has been a blockbuster,” Ubaña added.
He ended his welcome remarks with a challenge to everyone on how to keep up the momentum.
“The big question now, of course, is how to sustain this great momentum. Certainly, you all know the answer to that question. To keep this momentum going, we shall also sustain our hard work, consistency, and unity.”
